Your legal construction activity

By: Jelvins Seonem

Probably everyone knows that before any construction company has to receive a duly permit to conduct business in the construction sector. Why does the legislation was introduced mandatory for all licensing processes? Because the construction of any building is very sensible work, because the errors made during draft and construction of buildings and the use of substandard building materials may later lead to huge material harms and even death. This licensing procedure was designed to fully test whether we can entrust the applicant for a license performing building activities. Though, the licensing process was flawed, left quite a big option for abuse, and bureaucratic red tape by sanctions. That is why from 1 January 2010 the relevant law license in the construction industry has been officially stopped. Still, this does not mean that at present-day there is no control over those who take a huge responsibility - to build houses, industrial houses and so on. To date, the official substitute for licensing the construction activity is self-regulatory organizations - the so-called SRO in construction. What is the specificity of such companies? They are non-governmental associations, which now have the reliability to implement the admission to the building of both individual entrepreneurs, and a variety of companies and enterprises. These days, every construction company should have such a permit as proof of admission to the construction work, for which the firm must be engaged in SRO. There are different sorts of SRO, depending on the type of construction work carried out by members of SRO: it may be in direct building, engineering studies, as well as in the improvement of project documentation. It is very convenient from any perspective, including - and clients. Now, if you want, for instance, preparing a project for structure of town houses, you can contact the project SRO without intermediaries and get well developed project.
