Any manager responsible for a server room or IT environment knows how crucial the smooth running of the IT equipment is to the company. It doesn't matter if it's a small business or a huge corporation, network downtime means there is lost operating time and in turn lost revenue. When the room temperature begins to rise alerts are sent to the relevant individuals, allowing them to react and follow corrective procedures before any damage occurs. The company can continue to operate without interruption, damage or loss of data.
