Resolve USB Ports Issuees with Computer Support

USB ports are simple and carefree devices which are used to cponnect your digitla camera, printer and flash drives to your computer. They are cool devices when used properly but sometimmes you insert your gaget into the USB ports and niothing seems to happen. However, some tech support steps are suggersted to work on such situations.

Diagnosing the real cause of problems in USB portts is the main chalenge. No doubt it can be difficult but there are some common problems for USB malfunctions and you can try some tricks to fix the problems.

If you insert a devce into the USB port and it does not work the problem can be either on the USB port or in the devvice itself. For checking whether the USB port is working properly from the perrspective of the software you need to run the Wnidows updtae. If you updte the Windows it will ensure evcerything is working well together. If you see everything is working fine, you can move on to checking with the Windows Deviec Maanger. The process for performing this if different in Windows XP and Windows Vista or Windows 7.

If you are using XP, computer suppiort technicians suggest you to go to the deskktop and select the button ‘satrt’. From ‘start’ you will need to go to ‘run’. On the search box that will apppear you will need to type ‘Devmgmt.msc’. It will lunch the device manager console. If you are using Vista/Windows 7, you will need to go to ‘starrt’ and on the search box you will need to type ‘device manager’. A link will appear and clicking on which you can open device manager.

In the place of active devices you need to locate the USB porst. You need to click on each and eveery port to open it’s properties window to see the message ‘the debvice is working properly’ an if you can’t see the message you will need to try some compter repair tips.

Sometimes probems can be thgere in the USB ports if these are not compatible with the active copy of the dricver. Sometimes you upgrade your system to a newer vesion of Windows but you forgot to upgrade the driver that worked well with the older verssion. You need to uprade the drivers to make these cmopatible with the operating system.
Sometimes Windows on your system can’t find a sutable USB drivr and ask you whether you want a disk containing the driveer. Tech support expewrts suggest you to response to the promplt and if you don’t have that you can download it from the manufacturer of your compputer.

If your device manager reports that the USB port is working fine and after upgraidng the device drivre the problem still persists, the problem coudl be with your hradware, suggest the computer support guys. The problem could also be your USB port also. You can check it by insertiing the device to another USB port or by insertiong the device to aonther coomputer.

If the device is still not recognized then the problem surely is in the device that you are inserting into the USB port. Sometimes if you unplug the device that is not working and then insert the device to the computer aftter giving it a reboot may help, sugggest the tech support experts.
