The Wedding Diet - Maintaining Your Appearance

By: Kate Mendelsen

Every bride would want to look her loveliest on her wedding day. Some believe in their innate beauty and try to look their very best by looking natural and minimal. Others, however, would rather not walk down the aisle than look less beautiful than any of the other women in the room. They will undergo rigorous exercise, a specific wedding diet, and hire the services of professionals to achieve a glowing color.
If you are a bride like the latter, then you need to take not of a lot of things before your wedding day. We are not saying that you look any less beautiful now but with a little more effort, you will look like a character from an elite Hollywood movie.
The first thing that a bride works on as soon as she plans her wedding would be her figure. Truly, her figure will dictate what type of dress she will be wearing on her wedding day. An adjustable wedding dress, usually with just strings on the back that looks much like a corset, is a good option if you want to make sure that you will fit in it come your wedding day. If your dress is not adjustable, though, undergoing a specific wedding diet to maintain your figure is necessary. Usually, it is nothing but watching what you eat and making sure that you do not have too much sweets and calories. You probably would not want to lose weight that much, too, because you don't want your dress to look like it's three sizes bigger.
Aside from a specific wedding diet, working on keeping your skin clear and blemish free is another way of looking a notch more ravishing than you are now. Remember that while cosmetic concealer is available in the market, nothing still beats naturally clear skin. Avoid having zits by washing your face with mild cleansers and having a diet rich in Vitamins C and E. Also, it is important that you get enough sleep everyday so dark circles under your eyes won't show up on your wedding day.
Before the wedding, try to avoid experimenting on your hair first. If you are not sure whether a bob suits you or not, try to stick with your current hairstyle. Your hairstylist will surely give it more oomph come your wedding day so you need not worry about looking dull and average. Treatments, such as hair coloring and perming or straightening might also do more harm than good if the results are not quite what you want. If you really want to give yourself a new look, it would be best to consult a professional before making a decision.
With the simple tips we have given you, it is almost effortless to look a little bit more dashing on your wedding day. Just a little wedding diet, a couple of minutes exercise daily and enough sleep, if done regularly, will turn comments from "Oh, she's the bride" to "Wow! She is the bride?"
