The planet earth where we live has been bestowed by numerous and uncountable hidden treasures given by GOD. It is our duty to discover these resources and make full use of them. On the basis of these facts, these available resources can be divided into two categories i.e. renewable and non renewable resources. In broader terms, renewable resources are the ones which are once used can be availed again for the use. For example, water is a renewable resource. It comes to the earth in the form of rain and seeps into the ground and goes into the Streams Rivers and seas. From there, it evaporates back to the sky in the form of water vapors and then again comes down as rain. This is known as water cycle. Same is the case with different gases in the atmosphere as they also have their respective cycles. They are being consumed and regained as the cycle continues. The other category is the one which once used cannot be regained. Coal gas and oil are some of the examples of these non renewable resources. There is no doubt that all these have their respective importance but most important of all is the oil. Consumption of oil is grate and its ratio is increasing day by day. People all around the world have been using oil for industrial as well as non commercial purposes. It has been consumed to an extent that now its level has reached an extent that has been considered to be on the brink of getting out of stock. It is due to this reason that every country is trying to discover more reservoirs of the oils to overcome the gap of oil consumption and needs. Many programs have been introduced by different countries and companies for this purpose and Strike Energy is one of those programs. Strike Energy has started a program of gas exploration and new onshore oil which concerns two fronts. A new joint venture has been seen between Strike Energy and Texana resources that are based in Houston. This venture is named as the Bateman Lake Joint Venture. Initially, interest on the generated amount will be paid to the Strike Energy. Its range would be from 10 to 15%. It’s another joint venture in Texas inside Eaglewood is already busy in the exploration drilling program on spots where it is supposed to be present at Mesquite and Rayburn etc. the Success ratio of this project is almost 60%. If we see at the success ratio of these drilling programs then we can say that in the coming years, we shall be able to discover more and more reservoirs of oil around the world where they are supposed to be present. It is the need of the hour to discover more and more reservoirs of oil gas in order to fill the gap between the demand and supply. Now, it is the time to wait and watch what they will be giving us in the next few years in the form of more energy resources.
