The arm nearest to the vehicle is called a boom, and the other a dipper. The arm and bucket are powered by highly sophisticated hydraulics which allow for accurate movement.

Hydraulic systems are used to power forklifts. Industrial trucks are used to power such machines which are used in the lifting and transporting of heavy materials, especially in the moving and lifting of pallets in stock distribution centres and warehouses. The forklift’s mask does the most work in the lowering and raising of the loads. Hydraulics are used in our daily lives, even if we do not realize it.
