Yves Saint Laurent is well recognized over the world as being one of the best labels in French design through the Twentieth century. Yves Saint Laurent was regarded around the globe and considered by a lot of the worlds best dressed people to be the inventor of contemporary fashion. The designer was also seen to be the last of a generation of designers that made the Rive Gauche home to some of the very best and most superbly talented fashion designers on the globe, which includes Christian Dior and Coco Chanel.
