This room is a amusing and brightly decorated place where the kids use stimulating equipment to improve their ability, whether or not it be learning to walk, progressing with their vocabulary or building their confidence to cooperate with other children. We communicate with parents with daily records informing you of how your infant has been at daycare throughout the day. Kids are cheery, self-confident and established within the setting. Childs and younger kids enjoy lots of cuddles and consideration from staff who sit on the floor to play with them. Children advance their physical ability as they use the fixtures to pull themselves up and walk round the room. They also enjoy messy games, such as paint and water play, which develops their creativeness. Ofsted Report 2007 We have designed a large large plan room for our 2- 3years which has a relaxed environment with huge emphasis being placed upon learning through play. There are a wide range of stimulating and interesting areas with lots of toys and apparatus to build up their skills. “Children have access to a excellent range of toys which are age and stage appropriate. Toys and play resources are stored safely on low-level furniture to encourage variety and independence. Children help themselves to books and enjoy the role-play area where they improve their imagination”. Ofsted Report 2007 In preschool we present thrilling opportunities within a large open plan setting. We have a quiet reading corner, construction area, role play, computer area, table top activities, as well as a separate art and craft area to get messy! The kids have their own dining area and toilets which is easily available to them. “Kids improve their creativeness through a good quality range of activities, such as music, paint and singing. They have access to a range of waste materials where they construct their own instruments using rice and pasta. Children make progress increasing control over their small muscle skills as they handle tools, such as glue sticks, beads and brushes”. Ofsted Report 2007 Our protected and secure outdoor play areas are equipped with sturdy equipment. The children are timetabled outdoors regularly right through the day where they can benefit from plenty of tidy air. We try to spend as much time as we can outdoors, especially when the sun comes out.
