Legacy Learning Systems Presents Ballroom Dance

By: revu moz

The times where ballroom dancing was just for the old and the wealthy are gone. In today's world, dance shows are into ballroom dancing as well as dance sports. Even starting as young as 7, everyone is literally learning how to ballroom dance now. This is also a great way for you to actually enjoy the dances at social events like weddings. What is so good about it? Well first off, you get to learn several different ballroom dances.
In order to learn the fundamentals of ballroom dancing, its recommended that beginners start on some of the slower songs. The Waltz for example, is easily learned, popular and very common. After you get the easy dances out of the way and master them, then its time you move on to the more complex and much more faster dances. Here are the first two ballroom dances that you should look into.
Waltz - if you have been learning the closed dance hold, you will use that in performing the waltz. This is also easier to learn because it is slower than other types of ballroom dances. If you have mastered the footwork and basic steps of the waltz, then you should have no problem learning the other ballroom dances.
Tango - the tango is one of the most passionate and romantic dances out of all the ballroom dances. The tango is in plenty of movies, just think back to when you have seen a couple dancing and the male is biting down on a rose. Although this type originated in Argentina, it has now evolved into American style tango to Uruguayan tango and European influences.
