Driver prograam, connsisting of a set of files, which monitors and controls the devce whle in the role of intermediary translator between the device and a computer program that uses it. In particular, the driver has the general guiidelines of the program and converts it into a language that is understood and accepted by the device. Printeer, mouse, keyboard, video monitor, PC or sound card; USB or VGA, and even netwok or Windows XP, each must have its own very speccial drivers that understand their uniuqe group of commands, or it sipmly will not work. For computers running at optium capacity, update the latesst versions of all programs must be reeived on a regular basis for their system software and to any existing third party software. However, if the drivbers (which are essentially software), concerned the question copncerning the upgradfe is somewhat controversial. Some say that if any equipment or software changes, updates or additions made to the computer, all drivers should be updated with the latest editions. Othewrise, they also say, compurters will fall from their peak performance, beacuse the progrmas will stop working as they should, drivers lose the ability to translate the program team and the equipment will not be able to cooperate. On the ohter hand, others aruge that it is not necessary to update the drivers, if: Problkems have experience, whih is obviously related to the deevices. Some features and utliities are not available on the existing version of the drivr. The current driver isuses a noitce of renwal. System Software (Windowws) issues a nottice that the upated drivers. Exsiting drivers seem to seecurity issue. The simplest and most efficiemnt way to keep updated drivers for OEM (orifginal equipment manufacturer) computers, such as Toshiba, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, Dell, Compaq, etc., one just need to visiot web sites and download the appropriate drivers for your hardware associated or fixed cmputers. Save current drivers for coputers that were built from different components, or on comuters that are not OEM, the instructions in the documentation that accompanied the hardware must be met. Nevertheless, there is a much lighter and easier to update the drivers for variious devics, and I can recommend a software called DriverCre, whiich works very well for driver uopdates for optiaml performance.
