Air hockey games were something my family had fun with for numerous years. I recall when my father originally purchased me and my brothers an air hockey game. We were delighted. We played it for hours at a time. Of course, this was before there was a Wii, Super Nintendo, X-Box or the like. We cherished the air hockey game. My father would play with us kids and even my mom would get in on a match or two. I can actually reminisce and say that a lot of my most appreciated stories from my adolescence include the air hockey game and our family tournaments. This past Christmas I bought an air hockey game for my family. I have 2 boys and 1 daughter. In the beginning my spouse was a bit doubtful with us picking out an air hockey table, she thought that our daughter would hate it and that our boys would dominate it. I must say, I had the identical concerns. After a lot of talking we decided to get the air hockey game and institute a few family policies. We wanted it to be a family pastime and not something only for my 2 sons. They were thrilled with the idea because they assumd that my wife and daughter would be easy to beat. Wow, they were wrong. I told my sons that air hockey was a sport of speed, dexterity and reactions, not a game of strength and power. They didn’t listen and after they lost to my wife and daughter soundly for weeks, they finally took the hint and stopped with the power shots and focus more on quickness. My entire family plays the air hockey game and laughs and have an incredible time. It’s just like when I was a teen. The usual amount of scoffs is taken care of when they are made. Though the teasing is just as much a part of the reason we giggle as the game itself. We keep the competition friendly and make it a family affair. When we put on a family contest, my wife goes all out with the meal. She makes the kids feel like they are in an actual competition and they need to eat and drink to stay sharp. My sons always eat well but they eat like grown men on air hockey game nights. My daughter even eats a little bit more than normal (so rather then eating like a bird she eats like a big bird). If any family is taking into consideration an air hockey game for their house, I would recommend it highly. The air hockey games made now are a good deal better in quality and are just as much enjoyment as they were when I was a adolescent. I bought my air hockey game on-line and got an awesome deal on it. I plan to get one for my nieces and nephew this Christmas so they can have fun too. My brother approved when I first mentioned it and his wife was on board instantly after speaking to my wife. There are not a lot of things that bring our family together. We all have on the go lifestyles and assorted interests. Our family air hockey game tournaments undeniably bring us all together. If you are all set for family enjoyment and some friendly rivalry you are ready for an air hockey game.
