Air hockey games were something my whole family enjoyed for countless years. I bring to mind when my father originally bought my brothers and I an air hockey game. We were pleased. We used it for hours at a time. Of course, this was before there was a Wii, Super Nintendo, X-Box and the like. We cherished the air hockey game. My dad used to play with us and even my mother would get in on a tournament or two. I can honestly reminisce and say that some of my most cherished memories from my childhood include the air hockey game and our family tournaments. This past Christmas I purchased an air hockey game for my family. I have 2 boys and one girl. At first my wife was slightly doubtful with us buying an air hockey table, she thought that our daughter would hate it and our sons would control it. I will confess, I had the same worries. After a good deal of talking we decided to purchase the air hockey game and institute some family policies. We made it a family game and not something just for my two sons. They were thrilled with the scheme because they assumd that my wife and daughter would be effortless to beat. Wow, were they mistaken. I warned my boys that air hockey was a game of quickness, alertness and reactions, not a game of strength and power. They didn’t listen and after they lost to my wife and daughter soundly for weeks, they finally took the hint and stopped with the power shots and began to concentrate more on speed. My whole family plays the air hockey game and laughs and have an excellent time. It’s exactly like when I used to be a teenager. The standard amount of heckling is taken care of at the time they are made. While the mockery is just as much a component of why we have an excellent time as the sport itself. We keep the opposition friendly and make it a family event. When we havea family competition, my wife goes over the top with the meal. She makes the kids believe that they are in an actual competition and they need to eat and drink to stay quick. My boys always eat a fair amount but they eat like adults on air hockey game nights. My daughter even eats a little more than usual (so instead of eating like a bird she eats like a hefty bird). If any family is considering an air hockey game for their game room, I would recommend it highly. The air hockey games made now are much better in worth and are just as much enjoyment as they were when I was a child. I bought my air hockey game on the internet and got a great deal on it. I plan to buy one for my brother's children this year so they can have fun too. My brother thought the idea was ideal when I initial brought it up and his wife agreed swiftly after chatting with my wife. There are not a lot of things that bring our family together. We all have active lifestyles and diverse interests. Our family air hockey game tournaments unquestionably bring us all together. If you are prepared for family excitement and some friendly competition you’re all set for an air hockey game.
