Air hockey games were something my whole family had fun with for numerous years. I recall when my father first got me and my brothers an air hockey game. We were pleased. We played it for hours on end. Of course, this was before there were video games. We loved the air hockey game. My father would play with us kids and even my mom would get in on a competition or 2 . I can honestly look back and say that a lot of my most treasured stories from my childhood include the air hockey game and our family tournaments. This past Christmas I got an air hockey game for my family. I have two boys and one daughter. In the beginning my spouse was a little hesitant with us picking out an air hockey table, she assumd that our daughter would dislike it and our sons would hog it. I must say, I had those same concerns. After much talking we decided to purchase the air hockey game and institute some family policies. We made it a family game and not something only for my two sons. They were thrilled with the proposal because they assumd that my wife and daughter would be easy to beat. Wow, they were wrong. I warned my boys that air hockey was a sport of swiftness, alertness and reactions, not a game of strength and brawn. They didn’t listen and after they lost to my wife and daughter soundly for weeks, they finally took the hint and started to stop with the power shots and began to focus more on swiftness. My entire family plays the air hockey game and laughs and has a great time. It’s just like when I used to be a teenager. The natural amount of heckling is taken care of at the time they are made. Though the repartee is quite as much a part of why we giggle as the sport itself. We keep the rivalry friendly and make it a family event. When we put on a family play-off, my wife goes all out with the meal. She makes the kids believe they’re in a genuine competition and they need to eat and drink to stay on the ball. My boys always eat a fair amount but they eat like grown men on air hockey game nights. My daughter even eats a bit more than usual (so rather then eating like a bird she eats like a large bird). If any family is thinking about an air hockey game for their house, I would recommend it highly. The air hockey games sold now are a good deal better in worth and are just as much amusement as they were when I was a youngster. I ordered my air hockey game on the net and got an awesome deal on it. I plan to get one for my brother's kids this year so they can have fun too. My brother thought the idea was ideal when I initial mentioned it and his wife was on board swiftly after talking to my wife. There are not a lot of things that bring our family together. We all have busy lifestyles and assorted interests. Our family air hockey game tournaments without doubt bring us all together. If you are prepared for family amusement and some friendly competition you’re ready for an air hockey game.
