Air hockey games are something my family had fun with for many years. I bring to mind when my father initially bought my siblings and I an air hockey game. We were overjoyed. We used it for hours on end. Of course, this was before there was a Wii, Super Nintendo, X-Box or the like. We loved the air hockey game. My father used to play with us and even my mother would get in on a contest or 2 . I can truthfully reminisce and say that a lot of my most appreciated memories from my adolescence include the air hockey game and our family tournaments. This past Christmas I purchased an air hockey game for my family. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. Initially my wife was somewhat hesitant with us buying an air hockey table, she thought that our daughter would hate it and that our sons would control it. I must say, I had those same worries. After a great deal of discussion we decided to purchase the air hockey game and establish several family rules. We wanted it to be a family game and not something just for my 2 boys. They were thrilled with the thought because they figured my wife and daughter would be effortless to beat. Wow, were they incorrect. I warned my sons that air hockey was a sport of quickness, dexterity and reactions, not a game of strength and power. They did not pay attention and after they lost to my wife and daughter soundly for weeks, they finally got the hint and started to stop with the power shots and focus more on swiftness. My whole family plays the air hockey game and laughs and have an excellent time. It’s exactly like when I was a teen. The usual amount of name calling is handled at the time they are made. Although the mockery is just as much part of why we laugh as the sport itself. We keep the opposition friendly and make it a family event. When we put on a family match, my wife goes over the top with the snack. She makes the kids think that they’re in a real competition and they need to eat and drink to stay sharp-witted. My sons always eat well but they eat like adults on air hockey game nights. My daughter even eats a little more than usual (so instead of eating like a bird she eats like a hefty bird). If any family is taking into consideration an air hockey game for their game room, I would recommend it highly. The air hockey games made now are much better in value and are just as much amusement as they were when I was a teen. I ordered my air hockey game on line and got a fantastic deal on it. I want to get one for my brother's kids this year so they can have fun too. My brother approved when I first brought it up and his wife agreed promptly after chatting with my wife. There are a small number of things that bring our family together. We all have active lifestyles and assorted interests. Our family air hockey game tournaments certainly bring us all together. If you’re all set for family enjoyment and some friendly rivalry you are ready for an air hockey game.
